Two Fall Ribbons

Cute idea--fall pumpkins to use as a centerpiece, mantle decorations or window decorations. Raggedy Mini Posy Tree

This is a Styrofoam cone that Carole covered with red mini raggedy posies. This one is 10” high with a 4” diameter base and used 2 ½ yards of the mini posies. Carole simply started at the bottom and using small headed straight pins, she pinned the posies very close to one another in a row around the bottom. Then she did the same for the next row, and so on up to the top of the tree. Two or three posies pinned back to back form the top of the tree. This is just a base, although it is perfectly delightful just the way it is. Done in several different sizes, it would make a great addition to your centerpiece or your mantle decorations. But with a little imagination, you could add some more trimming and bling it out to the max. Larger cones may use the larger 2 ½” raggedy posies, but this little one is perfect with the minis. NOT FOR SALE, JUST FOR INSPIRATION.

Our fall ribbon at top is 1 1/2" wide and is a light olive green with copper leaves printed on the ribbon. It has a copper edge. Great color! Middle: This 2" wide cotton ribbon has a wine colored background with dark olive, gold and rust leaves running the length. Bottom: This 1 1/4" wide ombre ribbon is a beautiful blend of soft colors. Shades from olive green to a soft rusty coral. It has a light wire that makes it great to crumple (as shown) or hold your ribbon flowers in place. Three Spice Braids

All of these trims are in a rich, cinnamon spice shade. They will work with all the fall shades as well as the trims included in the November 2009 Treasure Club package. For this holiday season, we have added holly to our popular trees and reindeer ribbons that are pictured here and elsewhere in this boutique. This ribbon has great, rich holly green color with the leaves being about 3/4" long. All of these ribbons are just slightly puffy for a unique look.

Silver Wreath

This silver tone wreath is approximately 2" in diameter. It is not necessarily Christmas - the border is not holly or fir, but sort of a floral design, so it can be used to adorn any disk or picture. It fits our 1 5/8" porcelain disk perfectly, such as our Father Christmas disk in the boutique, but you can use it for any photo on fabric or paper. Just add a pinback and you have a pretty wonderful little pin to wear. We use E6000 glue to put the pinback on the porcelain disk.

Little Trees and Reinder Ribbon

This is really fun for Christmas decorating. The trees are about 1" high and are available in a satiny forest green or gold ribbon. The reindeer are about 1 1/2" long and are a brown satiny ribbon. You can order by the 1/4 or 1/2 yard and still get a lot of little trees and reindeer.

Antique Rose Slipper

We have been enjoying these slippers for a few years now, and they have become a coveted gift item for our friends and family. They are hand-crafted silk slippers with non skid soles. The prettiest, most comfortable little slipper you will ever wear. There is a little tie on the toe--these are much prettier in person than on the web. After you have a pair, you won't ever want to be without a pair or two. The sizes are as follow: S - 6.5-7.5 M - 7.5-9 L - 9 -10.5. Will mold to your foot after you have worn it a few times.
