Four Rhinestone Buttons

Ever since I used E-6000 to glue a variety of rhinestone buttons to the metal buttons on my jean's jacket, I have looked for a way to make it possible for you to do the same. I cannot walk down the street wearing my jacket without people stopping me to ask where I got it. Truth is I got the jacket at a second hand store, just because I didn't want to pay the money for a new one and I needed one with flat metal buttons. You can't get the buttons off the jacket, but you can remove the shank from the rhinestone buttons and glue them onto the button. Another problem - really pretty rhinestone buttons are very pricey - like about $12-$15 per button. So I went on the hunt - and finally found these for a fraction of the cost - AND - they are very pretty and sparkley. So here they are. You could use all the same button - but using all of the them is much more interesting. Lots of other ways to use them as well. Have fun sparkling up your world!

Loopy Fringe Rosette Buttons

Talk about something new and unusual! These 2" round rosettes are made from our fabulous loopy fringe. They each have a metal button shank on the back so you can use them as buttons or sew them onto the flap of a purse or the center of a pillow. If desired, you can cut the shank off and glue the flat back onto your project. They are so cool. Colors are starting at the top moving to the left: gold, vintage lavender, rich rust, sage and black. As luck would have it, they are also a wonderful embellishment for jackets, bags, pillows, etc., and they can be used as the base for a knock out brooch by adding a collage of fabulous pieces (buttons, beads, watch faces, photos, etc.) We ordered many more colors, but all were backordered. These wooden buttons are slightly concave and a bit rugged looking. The sizes are 2 1/4" in diameter on the round, 1 3/4" square and 1 3/4" H x 1 3/8" wide on the paisley shape.
